A European-market Quarter Cask, the expression that takes Laphroaig's flagship spirit and finishes it in small quarter casks for more wood contact. Introduced in 2004 and a core favourite since.

The smaller casks work fast, layering oak and a sweeter depth onto a young, oily spirit.

At 48% without chill filtration, the peat is intense and medicinal, a yeasty, kippery edge and citrus over new wood. The Quarter Cask in full.
