Description

Lore is Laphroaig's richest core bottling, drawing together stocks of different ages and cask types, including older sherry-matured whisky, its name a nod to generations of distilling knowledge passed down at the distillery.

The older Oloroso casks in the recipe are what set it apart, layering dried fruit and depth onto the younger, smokier components.

At 48% the medicinal peat runs deep, the Oloroso lending fig and raisin, with leather, citrus and a mossy note alongside. The fullest expression of the core range.
