The 2025 festival dram returned to ex-Bourbon at a strong 59.6%, the latest in the long Càirdeas line for the Friends of Laphroaig.

Ex-Bourbon at full strength keeps the smoke bright and direct.

At 59.6% the peat is powerful and medicinal, chocolate, cooked fruit, a cooked-vegetable note and a yeasty depth alongside. A festival Càirdeas.
