Laphroaig Cairdeas Feis Ile 2019 Triple Wood

The 2019 festival dram took the Triple Wood route, three cask types ending in Oloroso, a large release of 36,000 bottles at a hefty 59.5%.

Ex-Bourbon, quarter cask and Oloroso layer dried fruit and depth onto the smoke, the sherry's melanoidins reading as fig and raisin.

At 59.5% the peat is powerful and medicinal, dried fruit, new wood, chocolate, fresh fruit and vanilla alongside. A Triple Wood festival Càirdeas.
