A return to straight ex-Bourbon for the 2017 festival dram, bottled at a punchy 57.2%. Càirdeas at its most direct, the Friends of Laphroaig release for that year.

Ex-Bourbon at full strength keeps the smoke bright and the oak clean.

At 57.2% the medicinal peat carries new wood, vanilla, citrus and a cooked-mash note. A festival Càirdeas.
