Description

For 2013 Càirdeas turned to Port, the wine casks lending plum and a drying edge to the festival dram. A change of direction from the usual ex-Bourbon.

Port maturation at full strength brings plum and cherry with a jammy sweetness against the smoke.

At 51.3% the peat is medicinal under the wine fruit. A Port-matured festival Càirdeas.
