Description

Unusually for the series, the 2009 Càirdeas carried an age statement: twelve years, at cask strength, 4,000 bottles. Most festival releases are NAS, which makes this one a marker.

Twelve years in ex-Bourbon round the medicinal smoke, the cask strength keeping it vivid.

At 57.5% the peat is smoky and direct, a cooked-fruit note alongside. An age-stated festival Càirdeas.
