Description

One of the earliest Càirdeas releases, this 2008 bottling, 3,600 of them, set the template for what became Laphroaig's annual Feis Ile and Friends of Laphroaig dram. Càirdeas is Gaelic for friendship.

Matured in ex-Bourbon and bottled at full strength, the medicinal smoke comes through bright and direct.

At 55% the peat is clean and smoky, vanilla from the oak beneath. An early festival Càirdeas.
