Description

The Wall Collection brought a clutch of very old Laphroaigs; this thirty-six is a tiny Dutch release of 200 bottles in ex-Bourbon. The smoke worn soft by age.

Over three and a half decades in ex-Bourbon build a waxy, gentle maturity.

At 42.5% the peat is faint and smoky, citrus, fresh fruit, cooked fruit and honey over a waxy depth, vanilla beneath. A very mature rarity.
