Murray McDavid was founded in 1996 by Mark Reynier, Gordon Wright and Simon Coughlin, the team that went on to revive Bruichladdich. This bottling is a 35 year old Laphroaig, from cask 9208, laid down in 1988 and drawn off in 2023. in The Syndicate's range.

Thirty-five years in ex-Bourbon frame Laphroaig's heavily peated, medicinal spirit.

At its natural 45.8%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. Expect tarry peat, iodine and a coastal salinity.
