Book 3 of the Ian Hunter Story returns to ex-Bourbon: a 1987 vintage 33 year old at cask strength, 4,800 bottles, honouring the last Johnston-family owner.

Thirty-three years in ex-Bourbon mellow the smoke into a waxy maturity, the cask strength keeping it vivid.

At 49.9% the peat is soft but medicinal, citrus, fresh fruit, old wood and an oily texture alongside. The third Hunter chapter.
