Description

Book 2 of the Ian Hunter Story turns to sherry: a 1989 vintage 30 year old matured in Oloroso, 4,800 bottles, again honouring the last Johnston owner. Deeper and fruitier than Book 1.

Thirty years in Oloroso bring fig, raisin and tobacco, the cask's melanoidins working on a mature spirit.

At 48.2% the peat is soft under the deep sherry, fresh and dried fruit, a nutty edge and smoke. The sherried second chapter.
