Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. The cask was filled in 1992 and bottled in 2022, a 30 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 15939.

Aged thirty years in ex-Bourbon, the oak rounds the tarry medicinal core.

At 51.8%, undiluted, the ex-Bourbon brings vanilla and soft oak. The profile runs to citrus, a coal-gas edge, a medicinal edge, a mossy note, a rubbery note.
