Laphroaig 30 Years Old 1987 Cask #DL 11834 (XOP)

Fred Laing founded Douglas Laing in Glasgow in 1948, and the third generation runs it still. This 30 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 11834, came off the stills in 1987 and was bottled in 2017.

Time in ex-Bourbon, thirty years of it, frames the distillery's medicinal, briny peat.

Bottled undiluted at 53.5%, the cask lends vanilla and a touch of honey. Expect chocolate.
