The Vintage Malt Whisky Company is a Glasgow independent behind the Finlaggan and Cooper's Choice lines. This 28 year old Laphroaig, from cask 10869, was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2019., part of The Cooper's Choice series.

From ex-Bourbon, twenty-eight years draw out peat heavy with tar and brine.

At its natural 40.8%, the ex-Bourbon brings vanilla and soft oak. Expect tarry peat, iodine and a coastal salinity.
