Laphroaig 27 Years Old ElD The Single Malts of Scotland Director’s Special (Elixir)

Elixir Distillers grew from Sukhinder Singh's collecting into a bottler and, lately, a distiller. This 27 year old Laphroaig was bottled in 2024.

Held in ex-Bourbon for twenty-seven years, the oak settles the distillery's medicinal, briny peat.

At 51.2%, undiluted, the ex-Bourbon adds a vanilla sweetness. Expect tarry peat, iodine and a coastal salinity.
