Matured in ex-Bourbon and bottled undiluted, this is the 2023 Cask Strength Edition of Laphroaig's 25, the annual high-strength outturn of its oldest core whisky.

Twenty-five years wear the smoke smooth; at full strength the spirit keeps the weight that water would strip from it.

Bottled at 47.3%, the peat mellow and medicinal, vanilla from the bourbon oak over a waxy base. Look for a coal-gas note, fresh fruit, a kippery edge and a hay-like note.
