Description

Matured in ex-Bourbon with a turn in Oloroso and bottled undiluted, this is the 2017 Cask Strength Edition of Laphroaig's 25, the annual high-strength outturn of its oldest core whisky.

Twenty-five years wear the smoke smooth; at full strength the spirit keeps the weight that water would strip from it.

Bottled at 48.9%, the peat mellow and medicinal, the Oloroso lending fig and raisin from its melanoidins. The profile takes in cooked fruit, chocolate, citrus and tobacco.
