Laphroaig 25 Years Old 2007

A 2007 release of 2,500 bottles, this 25 shows Laphroaig at a quarter century, the smoke worn smooth and the spirit turned waxy. Coastal warehousing leaves its mark over decades.

Twenty-five years in ex-Bourbon, much of it likely in Laphroaig's seaside warehouses, mellow the peat into a soft, waxy depth.

At 40% the peat is gentle and smoky, a mossy, dry-sandy character and vanilla in support. A mature flagship-age bottling.
