Description

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society grew from a 1978 cask-sharing syndicate into the club founded in 1983 at The Vaults in Leith. Filled in 1995 and bottled 2020, the whisky is a 25 year old Laphroaig, from cask 29.274. in the Rage, rage against the dying of the light range.

Twenty-five years in ex-Bourbon let the oak work peat heavy with tar and brine.

At its natural 54.6%, vanilla and a creamy oak note from the ex-Bourbon. A big medicinal peat, iodine and ash through the finish.
