Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. The cask was filled in 1989 and bottled in 2015, a 25 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 10798.

Held in ex-Bourbon for twenty-five years, the oak settles the deep south-shore peat.

At its natural 57.8%, the cask lends vanilla and a touch of honey. A coastal, medicinal smoke carries through to the finish.
