Description

The Laing family has bottled whisky from Glasgow since 1948, Douglas Laing carrying the name. A 21 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 13523, this was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2019.

A bourbon barrel and twenty-one years settle the tarry medicinal core.

At its natural 53.4%, soft vanilla comes from the ex-Bourbon. The peat is oily and phenolic, brine underneath.
