Stewart Laing founded Hunter Laing in 2013 with his sons, the name drawn from his own middle name. This 20 year old Laphroaig came off the stills in 1997 and was bottled in 2018. in the Old & Rare - A Platinum Selection.

Twenty years of ex-Bourbon soften its oily, tarry smoke.

Bottled at 44%, bourbon-cask vanilla underneath. The profile runs to a cooked-mash note.
