Samaroli was founded in Rome in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, the first independent bottler outside Britain and a legend whose 1967 Laphroaig is among the most coveted whiskies ever bottled. Distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2019, this 19 year old Laphroaig, from cask 4120 followed. in the MASAM from private stock of Silvano range.

An ex-Bourbon cask and nineteen years shape Laphroaig's tar-and-iodine smoke.

Bottled at cask strength, 52.4%, the American oak brings vanilla. Expect a cooked-mash note.
