Description

Hunter Laing has bottled single casks since 2013 and is building a distillery on Islay. A 18 year old Laphroaig, from cask HL 15760, this was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2019., part of The Old Malt Cask series.

Ex-Bourbon and eighteen years round its medicinal south-Islay peat.

Bottled at cask strength, 50%, the American oak leaves vanilla. Tarry smoke and sea-salt, unmistakably south-shore Islay.
