Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. A 18 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 12419, this was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2018.

Ex-Bourbon and eighteen years round the tarry, iodine-laced spirit.

At 56.8%, undiluted, the ex-Bourbon brings vanilla and soft oak. On the palate, a coal-gas edge, leather, smoke, tobacco.
