Laphroaig 18 Years Old 1997 Cask #DL 10951 (Old Particular)

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. This 18 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 10951, was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2015.

Matured in ex-Bourbon, eighteen years carry Laphroaig's tar-and-iodine smoke.

At its natural 48.4%, vanilla and coconut from the bourbon oak. The profile runs to a medicinal edge, new wood, smoke, tobacco.
