The Symington brothers founded Signatory Vintage in 1988, now home to the Cask Strength Collection. This bottling is a 18 year old Laphroaig, from cask 3370, laid down in 1997 and drawn off in 2015., from the Cask Strength Collection.

A turn in Oloroso over eighteen years folds the wine cask through Laphroaig's tar-and-iodine smoke.

At 54.4%, undiluted, the Oloroso lends a raisined, figgy depth. Smoke, salt and tar, medicinal to the last.
