Description

Founded in 1938, Duncan Taylor moved to Huntly and built a name on old and closed-distillery casks. This 16 year old Laphroaig, from cask 56800315, came off the stills in 2005 and was bottled in 2022., from the Single Cask range.

Aged sixteen years in ex-Bourbon, the oak rounds the distillery's medicinal, briny peat.

At 52.9%, undiluted, with bourbon-cask vanilla underneath. Peat smoke, iodine and tar lead, in classic Laphroaig fashion.
