Duncan Taylor sits on one of Scotland's largest private cask collections, a legacy of its 1938 broking roots. This 16 year old Laphroaig, from cask 5629673, was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2021. in The Octave Premium range.

A turn in Oloroso over sixteen years folds the wine cask through its medicinal south-Islay peat.

At its natural 52.4%, fig, walnut and dark raisin from the sherry. Expect dried fruit.
