Description

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society began with a shared cask of Glenfarclas and grew into the world's best-known whisky club. This bottling is a 16 year old Laphroaig, from cask 29.186, laid down in 1999 and drawn off in 2016. in the Spicy smoky seaweed salad range.

Sixteen years of ex-Bourbon soften the deep south-shore peat.

Bottled undiluted at 56.1%, the ex-Bourbon adds a vanilla sweetness. Medicinal smoke, kelp and tar in the house style.
