Description

Cadenhead's bottles in the old style, without colour or chill filtration, a habit kept since 1842. This 16 year old Laphroaig came off the stills in 1990 and was bottled in 2006.

A bourbon barrel and sixteen years settle Laphroaig's antiseptic, oily smoke.

Bottled undiluted at 58.4%, the American oak brings vanilla. Seaweed, smoke and iodine in the Laphroaig manner.
