Description

Murray McDavid was founded in 1996 by Mark Reynier, Gordon Wright and Simon Coughlin, the team that went on to revive Bruichladdich. This 15 year old Laphroaig, from cask MM 3873, was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2003., part of The DD Cup Bottling series.

Held in ex-Bourbon for fifteen years, the oak settles the distillery's medicinal, briny peat.

At 46%, the ex-Bourbon adds a vanilla sweetness. On the palate, a coal-gas edge, fresh fruit, a leafy lift.
