Description

Duncan Taylor sits on one of Scotland's largest private cask collections, a legacy of its 1938 broking roots. The cask was filled in 2005 and bottled in 2018, a 13 year old Laphroaig, from cask 5622223., part of The Octave series.

Held in ex-Bourbon for thirteen years, the oak settles the deep south-shore peat.

Bottled undiluted at 54%, the ex-Bourbon gives vanilla. Tar, smoke and antiseptic iodine run the length of it.
