Laphroaig 12 Years Old Oloroso for the Nordics 2002

Distilled in 2002 and chosen for the Nordic market, this 12 year old spent its life in Oloroso, an outturn of 1,278 bottles. The sherry gives it a dried-fruit depth and a curious hay-like lift.

Oloroso maturation, rather than a short finish, means the fig and raisin of its melanoidins run right through the spirit at twelve years.

At 48% the peat reads medicinal and smoky, threaded with honey, a leafy note and the hay-like character that sets this Nordic release apart.
