Description

Douglas Laing has bottled single casks from its Glasgow base since Fred Laing founded the firm in 1948. A 12 year old Laphroaig, from cask DL 4940, this was distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2009. in The Old Malt Cask range.

Twelve years in the bourbon cask lend vanilla to the smoky, antiseptic make.

Bottled undiluted at 50%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. Peat smoke, iodine and tar lead, in classic Laphroaig fashion.
