Speciality Drinks is the company behind The Whisky Exchange, releasing single casks under its own labels. Filled in 1996 and bottled 2007, the whisky is a 11 year old Laphroaig, from cask 50., from The Single Malts of Scotland range.

Matured in ex-Bourbon, eleven years carry peat heavy with tar and brine.

Bottled at cask strength, 57.5%, the bourbon cask adds vanilla. Peat, iodine and a maritime salinity hold the palate.
