Description

Unblended Islay Malt: another designation from before the single-malt category as we know it, on a rare old Italian-market 10. The wording alone places it decades back.

Ten years in ex-Bourbon the malt heavily peated as ever, made at the distillery near Port Ellen much as it is today.

At 43% the medicinal peat and iodine come through classic and clean, vanilla underneath. A bottle for the label and the era.
