An older German-market 10 at the old 43% strength, carrying a yeasty depth alongside the medicinal core that marks it as a bottling from an earlier period.

The make is standard for its day, ten years in ex-Bourbon over malt dried on Islay peat from the distillery near Port Ellen.

At 43% the peat reads medicinal and smoky, the yeasty note and vanilla filling out the middle. A vintage German edition.
