Even rarer than the 70%, this Italian-market 10 was bottled at an astonishing 75%, near the strength of new-make spirit. A vintage oddity that sits at the far edge of what Laphroaig has ever bottled.

Beneath the strength is the familiar flagship: ten years in ex-Bourbon, the malt heavily peated over Islay peat.

At 75% the medicinal peat is ferociously concentrated, iodine and tar amplified, the oak's vanilla a distant note. A collector's curiosity above all.
