Malts of Scotland is a German house that bottles single casks without colour or chill filtration. This bottling is a 10 year old Laphroaig, from cask MoS 16036, laid down in 2006 and drawn off in 2016., from the Warehouse Range.

A turn in Caribbean Rum over ten years folds the wine cask through the famous Laphroaig smoke.

Bottled at cask strength, 54.9%, the rum cask lends molasses and a tropical sweetness. The medicinal smoke is unmistakable, brine and tar behind it.
