The profile is bright and bracing. The nose is intensely vegetal, floral and citrussy, likened to an eau de vie de poire with fresh, crunchy sugar cane and a green snap, and the palate keeps the flowery, citrus lead with lime, white pepper and a sugar cane backbone. The finish turns lightly sweet over sugar cane with anise and a peppery, faintly saline edge. Bottled high in the island manner, it is a serious, terroir driven white that hits the classic fresh cane, floral and saline notes and shines neat or in a Ti Punch.
