Habitation Beausejour bottles this H.B.S Cuvee 2022 La Riviere as an unaged Martinique blanc made from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice under the world's only rum AOC. It is bottled at a clean 50%, presenting the cane at full clarity.

The spirit leans into the fresh, mineral side of agricole, the nose surprisingly fruity and gourmand alongside sugarcane, grass and a strong mineral note, the palate oily and mouth-coating with cane, minerality and pepper, the finish earthy and vegetal with lemon peel and a metallic tang. Unsweetened and lively, it pairs ripe fruit with a distinctly stony, vegetal backbone.
