This 2007 limited edition of Greenore 8 Years Old was bottled for the Polish market, part of the single grain line Cooley named after the small port on Carlingford Lough close to the distillery in Co. Louth. Greenore gave Irish grain whiskey, long an anonymous blending ingredient, a label of its own.

The edition was matured entirely in first fill ex-bourbon barrels, the most generous of American oak, which coat the light maize spirit in emphatic vanilla, coconut and honeyed toffee. Bottled at 40%, it drinks softly and sweetly, banana and custard tones in the house style of Cooley grain, with the fresher oak giving this release a touch more polish than the standard bottling.
