Lemon and grapefruit zest lift off a base of juniper, with Asian gunpowder tea lending a fine, floral bitterness that lingers. Slow-distilled in copper at The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, this edition sends part of every sale toward giant panda conservation in Sichuan. Dry, harmonious and quietly purposeful.

Description
Drumshanbo Gunpowder is made at The Shed Distillery in County Leitrim, Ireland, where founder PJ Rigney blends traditional Irish distillation with botanicals gathered from across the world. This Panda Conservation Edition, inspired by a hike through the bamboo forests of China's Sichuan province, wears an artful gold-foiled ceramic design and directs a portion of every sale to the Sichuan Green Foundation in support of giant pandas and their habitat. Slow copper distillation keeps its flavours fine and balanced.
Beyond juniper, angelica root and coriander seeds, Asian gunpowder tea and orange and grapefruit peel drive a lively, fresh interplay. The nose is citrus, green tea, juniper and delicate herbs; the palate complex and refreshing, lemon and grapefruit over juniper, tea and subtle spice; the finish dry and long with a slightly floral tea note. Serve it with a mild tonic and a twist of grapefruit zest.
