Casamigos Tequila Reposado

Casamigos Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila produced at the Casamigos distillery in Atotonilco el Alto in the Los Altos highlands, the brand founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber to suit their own taste. The agave reaches fermentation only a few hours after harvest, and that fermentation runs about eighty hours, roughly twice the usual length, which builds the soft, sweet house character.
The spirit rests at least seven months in ex bourbon barrels and is made in small batches, earning its reposado classification. The result is deliberately gentle, weighing in with caramel, a light touch of oak and cocoa, a silky texture and a soft finish. Bottled at 40% ABV, it sits firmly in the smooth, sweet leaning style rather than a rugged agave forward one.
