Casa Maestri Tequila Reserva de MFM Blanco

Casa Maestri Reserva de MFM is the top expression of the Casa Maestri distillery in Jalisco, a 100% Blue Weber blanco presented in a ceramic bottle. Its flavour profile was developed by Michael Maestri with Ana María Romero, the noted tequila specialist behind the sensory work on labels such as Mijenta, Inspiro and Padre Azul, which gives this softer, sweeter leaning blanco an unusually considered aromatic shape.

Production follows the classic route, with agaves cooked gently in a brick oven and autoclave, milled, then fermented with natural yeast and distilled twice. The spirit is bottled unaged at 40%. The nose is fruity and floral with a herbal edge, cooked agave and a touch of minerality, while the palate is soft and peppery with sweetness and tropical fruit before a medium finish.
