Description

From Penderyn, the Welsh distillery better known for its single malt, comes a floral reworking of its clean, well-regarded Brecon Gin. The base is prized for its clarity and pure juniper character, and onto that frame the distillers fold a natural infusion of rose petals. At a deliberately gentle 37.5%, it leans soft rather than assertive, the rose given room to bloom without tipping into perfume.

The nose opens with fine juniper and fresh rose, a thread of citrus keeping it bright. On the palate it is delicate and balanced, the floral sweetness offset by a green herbal note, before a long, mild finish that fades slowly and leaves a clean freshness behind. Pour it over a floral or Mediterranean tonic and garnish with fresh raspberries for a romantic, summery G&T.
