Marrying these origins is a familiar idea, the rounded toffee and banana of Barbados set against the sharper, fruitier pot-still character Jamaica is known for.

At three years the oak influence stays light, so a blend like this typically leans on the spirit itself rather than deep cask sweetness, with the bourbon-barrel ageing adding a touch of vanilla and soft wood. The higher strength gives it more grip than the usual 40% pour, making it as suited to a rum cocktail as to a casual neat dram.
