Beluga Gold Line is now made in Montenegro by the Noblewood Group, which relaunched the brand in 2023 using the original recipes and methods. The spirit starts as wheat distillate from a distillery in Latvia, then is blended and bottled in Montenegro with artesian water and natural extracts. Rice and rose root in the recipe give it a softness beyond a plain wheat vodka.

Description
The Beluga name was rebuilt in Montenegro by the Noblewood Group, which restored the production site and kept the brand's traditional recipes and methods intact. The base is wheat spirit distilled in Latvia, then brought to Montenegro for blending and bottling with deep artesian water. Wheat gives the vodka its soft, rounded frame, and the recipe leans on natural extracts including rice and rose root, small additions that round the texture and add a faint savoury-floral depth without turning the spirit into a flavoured vodka. The Gold Line presentation, with its wax seal and brush, is built for the gift table.
The nose is soft and close to neutral, the palate smooth and gently wheaty, and the finish is long with a slight sharpness at the very end. That clean, dressed-up character suits a special-occasion serve: pour it ice-cold from the freezer into a chilled shot glass and pair it the Russian way with a spoonful of caviar or a sliver of cured fish, where the spirit's softness and the rose-root depth frame the salt rather than fight it.
